This retro, tarot-sized, poker deck features prominent political key figures of 2024, themed ”1984”, the dystopian novel and cautionary tale by George Orwell. Centuries ago, the standard deck of playing cards contained a card known as a Knight. When they arrived to France, the French mysteriously swapped the Knight out for the Queen. The Knave, which was another one of the original cards, remained the same, ranking just below the Knight-turned-Queen. Eventually, it turned into the Jack, which represents a “tricky and deceitful fellow.”
